Octopus  and  Fidesys discussed prospects of cooperation

On April 13 th the representatives of 3 engineering companies Octopus, Gradient Technology and Fidesys met in Skolkovo Foundation offices. Anatoly Vershinin, Technical director of Fidesys made a presentation on Fidesys software. This software was developed by founders of company Fidesys, alumni of Computational Mechanics Department of Moscow State University named after Mikhail Lomonosov. This software allows producing high-performance calculations for geomechanical computations and modelling of any type and nature of acoustic waves propagation in 3 D non-homogenous anisotropic environments. “This software allows to efficiently solve complicated problems of seismic modelling and geomechanics, taking into consideration fracturing, non -linear processes, elastic-plastic collapse of rocks, temperature deformations, intrinsically complicated geometry of reservoirs and wells.”-Anatoly Vershinin explained theessence of software Fidesys. The participants of the meeting discussed possibility of calculations for effective properties of rockformations, detected some issues and defined plausible touch points of cooperation.
